The turn-up for the Danish Grand Prix was rather good, with the works Coopers present, Team Lotus and Rob Walker. Brabham won for Cooper ahead of the Lotus cars of Graham Hill and Innes Ireland. Stirling Moss was fourth in the Walker Porsche that later would be sold to Carel. New Zealander George Lawton crashed fatally on lap seven of the first of four heats.
